You can also send e-Gift Card to a friend or helper so they can shop in store for you at Sainsbury's and Waitrose, and the Co-op have introduced a dedicated phoneline – 0800 029 4592 – to enable customers to purchase a gift card which can be passed on to a friend, neighbour or volunteer
Defra have agreed with supermarkets to make priority online shopping slots available to people with sight loss who are unable to access food and have no local support network to help them shop. These priority slots are now available through referral via RNIB’s Helpline (0303 123 9999, firstname.lastname@example.org).
