Netflix at DCMS Select Committee

Damian questioned senior representatives from Netflix in today's DCMS Select Committee hearing, asking the TV giant about viewer-stickiness, product placement, and campaigning documentaries:

 

 

Improving cycling provision locally

Damian met with local councillors from Binsted Parish Council last week to discuss ideas on how to boost cycling in the local area, and how provisions for cyclists could be improved at Bentley station.

Ahead of schools reopening tomorrow

Damian thanked everyone in East Hampshire schools - heads, teachers, support staff - for all they have been doing to be ready for the full return this week ... and wished good luck to all the children and young people starting their new school year!

Visit to Connect4Summer event

Today Damian visited Weyford Junior School to see this year's innovative Connect4Summer family holiday activities programme in action.

Connect4Summer is part of the DfE-funded summer programme, with family fun, learning together and great food.
