New classroom at Binsted Primary School

Damian was delighted to visit Binsted Primary School last week to open their new classroom, which was supported by many local fund-raising events. 

Bentley Business Club

Damian joined the inaugural gathering of the Bentley Business Club recently, on a panel alongside Steve Pearce from East Hampshire District Council and Ian Rudland, ex CEO of Vail Williams.

Discussions with the local NFU

Damian had a good and useful discussion with representatives of the local NFU, considering the outlook for farming and hopes for the sector post Brexit on trade, agricultural policy and labour supply.

Catching up with Energy Alton

Damian had the pleasure to catch up with John Hubbard, Eleanor Hill and Jenny Griffiths from Energy Alton at Alton Library and get an update on the great work they do in promoting energy efficiency, as well as seeing the latest readout from the solar panels at the library.

Visit to Eggar's School

Damian paid a visit to Eggar's School in Holybourne last week and was shown around by Head Teacher Mr Sullivan.

TAG start new consultation on revised flightpath

Although the CAA has yet to make a final decision, TAG is now holding a further consultation on an amended part of their Airspace Change Proposal (ACP), which makes changes to a flightpath across the South Downs National Park, over Midhurst and Milland and up above Liphook.
