Opening of new Future Skills Centre

Damian was delighted to attend the official opening of the Future Skills Centre in Whitehill & Bordon today, and enjoyed meeting the students that have already started a course at the centre.

WWF Picture England Exhibition

Damian was delighted to visit the World Wildlife Fund Picture England exhibition last week and see artwork inspired by the Meon Valley Fly Fishery; a beautiful spot in East Hampshire chosen by the WWF to symbolise the type of landscape that action against climate change aims to protect.

A visit to Hattingley Valley Wines

Damian visited Hattingley Valley Wines today, one of England's leading wine producers, based here in East Hampshire.

Their Blanc de Blancs 2011 Magnum was named World Champion by style at the recent Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships.

Dog's Trust shop opens in Petersfield

Damian was delighted to be at the opening of the Dog's Trust's new Petersfield charity shop today, and to meet staff and volunteers from the organisation.

The shop is located along the High Street, just next door to the Petersfield Post office.

Petersfield Lions Club Centennial Celebration

Damian was delighted to join the Petersfield Lions Club at Winton House for their Centennial Celebrations last week and have the opportunity to thank members for all the support they give to communities across the town.

Tesco joins Dementia Friendly Petersfield

The Petersfield branch of Tesco is the latest organisation to join Dementia Friendly Petersfield, making a pledge to help their staff become Dementia Friends, with the support of Sheila Barker Wallis, their Community Champion.
