In National Apprenticeship Week, Damian visited Alton-based company Testo in meet Will, an accounting apprentice who is supported by the apprenticeship scheme at East Hampshire District Council company.
Damian met with the Head of the Independent Commission on Aviation Noise (ICCAN) to discuss the work of the new body and how future plans for airspace modernisation and airport expansion may impact local communities.
Police funding for Hampshire is set to rise by £26.1m as part of the Government’s proposed settlement for 2020/21, which will see an overall increase of £1.1b across the policing system – the biggest increase in funding to forces since 2010.
