The New Directions 2023 event is taking place at Alton College on Friday 27th October. This is a fantastic event for anybody considering a change in career, are looking to retrain, seeking advice about setting up a business or would like to join a local voluntary organisation. There is a particular focus on the over 50s but all are welcome.
There will be practical workshops running throughout the day to help you with CV writing, budget planning, how to present yourself in an interview and much more. There are also a number of big local employers speaking at the event who will hopefully inspire you to take that first step towards a new job, business or volunteering opportunity.
It's free to get into, free to exhibit (there are still stand spaces if you are a local business, training provider or voluntary org) and a free minibus will run throughout the day to get anybody living in East Hampshire to the venue.
