Surgeries & other
dates |
|
Damian's advice surgeries
are generally on:
-
The first Friday each month:
Alton and in rotation Four Marks, Liphook, Selborne
or Grayshott
-
The third Friday each month: Bordon and Petersfield
Sometimes dates have to be
changed because of other commitments.
Appointments are
essential. To make an appointment, please call
Beverley on 01420 84122.
In an emergency, if the
dates above are too far away, or if you are housebound,
I will try to come to you, diary permitting.
Before requesting a
surgery appointment please do:
-
check whether the
issue can be sorted direct (see Resources section on
the right)
-
think about whether
we could start to help you more quickly if you
wrote, phoned or emailed rather than waiting for the
surgery

Pre-arranged meetings will either be at Central

The Conservative Party's local office is at

About East Hampshire |
|
The Boundary Commission sits
every ten years or so to ensure that representation to
the Westminster Parliament remains equal across the
whole of the UK. The last re-drawing of boundaries took
effect in 2010 and created a new constituency, Meon
Valley, represented by George Hollingbery which includes
the 'southern parishes' of East Hants District
(including Clanfield, Horndean, Rowland's Castle).
The rest of the East
Hampshire council area is now all within the East
Hampshire parliamentary constituency, including Bordon &
Whitehill, Liphook, Grayshott and Headley, which had
previously been part of the North East Hampshire
constituency.
For chapter & verse on
boundaries, we recommend
Ordnance Survey's Election Maps website.
For rich detailed information about the area, see
East Hampshire
District Council’s dataMAP

About Parliament |
|
Parliament's
Living Heritage programme offers an insight into the
political, social and cultural roles Parliament has
played in the development of British society over nearly
a thousand years.
You can see more about
how
Parliament works here. |

School trips |
|
Schools trips to the Commons
are a very good way of bringing to life how our country
is governed. Damian is always pleased to come and speak
to student groups from East Hampshire when they visit
Westminster. Tours are initially booked through the
Palace of Westminster’s
education office here.
educational resources from the House of Commons here. |
|
Gallery tickets (including Prime Minister's
Questions) |
|
Gallery tickets for the
Commons chamber are allocated by rota to each of the
MPs. If you would like to attend Prime Minister’s
Question Time then please contact Damian’s Parliamentary
office on 0207 219 7057 so that you can be added to the
waiting list. Unfortunately, however, we do generally
have a long waiting list.
Tickets for other debates in
the Commons chamber are much more readily available and
will not always involve a waiting time. |
